Preserving Family Furniture: A Do-it-Yourself Guide November 5, 2011 https://webdb.iu.edu/Continue/Secure/catalog.asp?dept=Home and Leisure#11FH901HU

Course description: Most of us have antiques we want to pass on to the next generation. As caretakers of family furniture, we have a responsibility to keep these pieces in good condition. This class features a demonstration of techniques used to care for and maintain old furniture, provides you with tools to determine the age of your furniture, and gives you the confidence to refinish or restore your antique when it is appropriate. The course handout will serve as a resource guide to help you run the "museum of you."
